About Fusion Firearms

Fusion Firearms is a federally licensed Type 07 firearms manufacturer based in Venice, Florida. Since 2014 we have designed, machined and hand-fitted 1911 pistols, and today we build the XP series double-stack 1911s and the XF PRO all-metal striker-fired 9mm under one roof.

What we do

• Manufacture pistols. The XP PRO V2, XP COMP, XP 3C and XF PRO are designed here and CNC-machined from bar stock, not cast or MIM.
• Machine parts. Thousands of 1911 parts, XP PRO parts and pistol sights for our own pistols and for every other 1911 on the market.
• Gunsmith. Our gunsmithing team does sight cuts, optic cuts, action work, barrel fitting and finishing on 1911s from any manufacturer.
• Build customs. The Custom Shop turns out ported, compensated, Damascus and full ground-up builds.

How we build

Every frame and slide starts as bar-stock steel or aluminum. It is machined in-house, hand-fitted by a gunsmith, finished (Tenifer QPQ, hard chrome, Ion Bond DLC or Yukon Coat), assembled and test-fired before it ships. That is why we can offer a lifetime workmanship guarantee on everything we make and every job we do.

Who writes our guides

The articles in the Fusion Firearms Newsroom are written and reviewed by the gunsmiths and machinists who build our pistols. When we explain a 1911 trigger job or a slide cut, it is the same work we do at the bench every day.

Compliance and licensing

Federally licensed firearms manufacturer (Type 07 FFL). Firearms ship only to licensed FFL dealers. Magazines and certain parts ship subject to state and local law. We do not sell to prohibited persons.
