Every finish we sell on a new pistol is also available as a service on yours. Hard chrome for a classic look and slickness, Ion Bond DLC for hardness and low friction, black oxide for a traditional blued look, Yukon Coat and Black Shield for coated durability.

Which finish is the most durable?
Ion Bond DLC is the hardest and most wear-resistant. Hard chrome is close behind and the most corrosion-resistant for carry in humid climates.
Can you refinish a pistol from another manufacturer?
Yes. We strip, prep and refinish 1911s and most steel or aluminum pistols. Send a service request with photos for a quote.
